A couple big developments have come up in the past few weeks. First off, bassist Jesse Halton will no longer be playing with Ara'Kus. The band wishes him well on his future projects. Auditions for a replacement are currently being held. If you are interested, please send us your information at our contact page.

Ara'Kus would also like to welcome keyboardist Rachel Brunson as a full member of the band. Coming from an extensive background as a classical pianist, she's already performed live with the band at several shows and has proven to be an extremely valuable addition.

Until a new bassist is found, no upcoming shows are scheduled, but keep checking back for updates.

At long last Ara’Kus will be hitting the stage again on September 10th, 2009 at Mix in Georgetown, downtown Seattle. The band has hinted that there may be some new elements added to this performance, but whether this could be new songs or something to do with this much anticipated new stage show we keep hearing about remains to be seen. We’ll post more information as we get it. Check the shows page for details on the venue.
